Refund policy

We want you to love what you order. If something isn't right, here's how we'll make it right.

Returns & Exchanges 

You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is:

  • Unused and unworn
  • In original condition
  • With all tags intact

To initiate a request, please use our Returns & Exchanges Portal. 

Exchanges

  • We will arrange a reverse pickup from your address.
  • Once the item passes our quality check, your replacement will be shipped.
  • Each item can be exchanged once per order.

Returns

  • We'll arrange a reverse pickup from your address.
  • Our courier partner will make two pickup attempts. If both are unsuccessful, the return request will be closed.
  • Once the item is received and passes our quality check, your refund will be processed.
  • If an item does not pass the quality check, we'll notify you and arrange to send it back. 

Refund Method

  • Prepaid orders → Refund to original payment method (5–7 business days).
  • COD orders → Refund through UPI/Bank Transfer (5-7 business days). 
  • Note on COD refunds: We'll refund your amount directly to your UPI ID or bank account - whichever you prefer. You'll be asked to provide these details when you initiate your return. Prefer store credit instead? We're happy to do that too.

Return Charges

  • A flat fee of ₹100 will be deducted from your refund to cover reverse shipping and restocking costs. This does not apply to damaged, faulty, or incorrect items (see below).

Damaged, Faulty or Wrong Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 5 days of delivery - no return charges will apply.

Sale Items Policy

Items purchased during sale events (End of Season Sale, Birthday Sale, Clearance Sale, etc.) are not eligible for returns or exchanges, except in the case of damaged, faulty, or incorrect items.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel an order, email us at hello@mexcess.in with your Order ID as soon as possible.

Cancellation Charges

  • No charge if the order has not been processed. 

  • ₹50 if the order has already been processed. 

  • Cancellation after a delivery attempt - To be treated as return (see Returns section above) Please note - Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped. For shipped orders you no longer want, please wait for delivery and initiate a return.

Cash on Delivery - Refusal Policy

Repeatedly refusing COD deliveries without cause may result in COD being unavailable for future orders. If you have a genuine reason for refusing a delivery (such as visibly damaged packaging), please contact us at hello@mexcess.in within 24 hours so we can note it on your account.
